General information about the coverages we offer. Exact terms, limits and exclusions vary by policy and insurer.

Auto liability

Covers bodily injury and property damage to third parties caused by your unit. The federal minimum for interstate trucking is $750,000. We offer limits up to $1,000,000 or more as needed.

Physical damage

Covers repair or replacement of your own unit after collision, rollover, theft, fire or vandalism. It is based on the vehicle's actual cash value (ACV). Typical deductible: $1,000–$2,500.

Motor truck cargo

Protects the freight you haul against loss, theft or damage in transit, up to the policy limit. The limit should reflect the real value of the load. Common exclusions: improperly secured cargo, temperature spoilage (unless reefer coverage applies).

General liability

Covers third-party claims for injuries or damage that occur outside the use of the vehicle, for example at your premises or during loading/unloading.

Bobtail / non-trucking

Covers your unit when driving without a trailer and not under dispatch. Ideal for owner-operators leased to carriers.

Workers' compensation

Covers your employees' work injuries, including medical expenses and lost wages. Required in most states for businesses with employees.

Claims process

To report a claim, contact us immediately at +1 910 591 1149. We will guide you through the documentation and coordinate with the insurer. Claims are handled within a maximum of 48 business hours.

Cancellation and refunds

Policies can be canceled at any time. Refunds are prorated according to the insurer's rules. Any outstanding financing must be paid off upon cancellation.

How refunds and cancellations work for policies and services purchased through SIXX STAR SOLUTIONS LLC.

Policy refunds

Insurance policies can be canceled at any time. Refunds are calculated according to the insurer's rules, usually prorated (pro-rata) for the unused time, minus any non-refundable fees or commissions. Some policies use a short-rate calculation that keeps a larger portion when canceled early.

Review time

Once cancellation is requested, we handle it with the insurer. Refunds, if applicable, are usually processed within 10 to 30 business days depending on the carrier and the original payment method.

Non-insurance services

For services such as dispatch, factoring, company formation, web design or logos, refunds depend on work progress. Work already started or completed is non-refundable. Dispatch and factoring services are billed under the terms of the corresponding contract.

Non-refundable

Not refundable: issuance or filing fees (MC, UCR, IFTA), processing charges, premiums already earned for the time covered, and completed or delivered services.

How to request a refund

Email services@6starins.com or call +1 910 591 1149 with your policy or reference number. Tell us the reason and the desired cancellation date. We will confirm the exact terms for your case.

Premium financing

If you finance your premium through a third party, cancellation does not cancel the outstanding balance with the finance company. Any outstanding financing must be paid off when the policy is canceled.
